Haryono No. 2 Magelang, Jawa Tengah 56122 pada tanggal 23 Juni s/d 25 Juli 2012. Pembukaan dilakukan sineas senior Garin Nugroho. Pada malam minggu (23/06) kemarin, pameran seni rupa dan lukisan tersebut dimulai.

Six artist from Fighting Cocks Group Yogyakarta will hold an exhibition titled 'Live in Harmony' in Warung Yayaa Artspace, Jl. Sekar Waru No. 4, Banjar Belanjong, Sanur, on 16-28 September 16-28, 2012. They are Zam Kamil, Moch Basori, Nurul ‘Acil’ Hayat, Dedy Sufriadi, Rocka Radipa, and Jitka Kampak. They will present about two dimension paintings. 'Live in Harmony' advanced contemporary works in expressionist, impressionist, abstract, even etsa (etching).

Enam orang seniman Fighting Cocks Group Yogyakarta akan menggeber pameran bertemakan 'Live in Harmony' di Warung Yayaa Artspace, Jl. Sekar Waru No. 4, Banjar Belanjong, Sanur, 16-28 September mendatang. Mereka adalah Zam Kamil, Moch Basori, Nurul ‘Acil’ Hayat, Dedy Sufriadi, Rocka Radipa dan Jitka Kampak. Mereka akan menyajikan karya-karya dua dimensi. ‘Live in Harmony’ mengetengahkan karya-karya kontemporer bercorak ekspresionis, impresionis, abstrak, hingga etsa (etching).

One only has to listen to the dialogues between the members of Fighting Cocks Group Yogyakarta to see the passion for this theme, “And the Cocks Are Still Fighting,” and the eclectic selection of artists. As a group they are concerned with artists who have gone through a process of growth and found their identities whilst simultaneously being concerned with supporting new, lesser known artists. The members of Fighting Cocks Group Yogyakarta are Dedi Yuniarto as manager, Zam Kamil, Nurul ‘Acil’ Hayat, Moch Basori as the key artist members.

CELEBRATING THE BODY IN GAYA FUSION ART SPACE


'Celebrating The Body' lifts body as a foundation framework for visual narrative assembled by artists of Fighting Cocks Group. Why does the body? Body as philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty called as etre-au-monde. Body is a human's mode to exists in this universe. It is an important aspect for humans, either biologically, because the body supporting human life, as well as philosophically, namely as a medium to touch the world and realize itself. Through their body, human reveals the existence of man himself, because by his body he was known as a subject. By his body, man passes the test of history stored neatly in the sensory organs of his body.

MERAYAKAN TUBUH DI GAYA FUSION ART SPACE


‘Celebrating The Body’ mengangkat tubuh sebagai kerangka landasan atas narasi visual yang dirangkai oleh seniman-seniman Fighting Cocks Group. Mengapa tubuh? Tubuh sebagaimana disebut filosof Maurice Merleau-Ponty sebagai etre-au-monde. Ia adalah cara mengada manusia di alam semesta ini. Ia merupakan aspek penting bagi manusia, baik biologis, karena tubuh menunjang kehidupan manusia, maupun filosofis, yakni sebagai medium untuk menyentuh dunia dan merealisasikan dirinya sendiri. Melalui tubuhnya, manusia mengungkapkan eksistensi diri, karena dengan tubuhnya ia dikenal sebagai subyek.

JAKARTA: PHILO ART SPACE held a painting exhibition themed 'Tubuh-tubuh Margin' (Marginal Bodies) by Nurul Hayat (Acil), Multazam Kamil, Moch Basori, Priyaris Munandar (Aris) and Iqrar Dinata which opened to the public starting up today (Monday, 26/09/2011).

The five artists who are members of the Fighting Cocks Group are displaying the latest works at least 20 to October 10, 2011.
